Working title…
At the beginning of 2022 I moved out to East Texas to take care of my disabled veteran pops and in the process inherited an absolute mess of a two acre property. Settled on the property is a 24 foot by 24 foot metal building that was used as a personal vehicle repair shop for my dad back in it’s prime; however, these days it’s just filled from wall to wall with old tools, engines, hoists, junk, etc…
Enter, “The Shop”… or “Andrew’s”… or “East Texas Cycles”, I wonder how many wrong calls looking for motorcycles I would get if I named it the last one. Y’all help me decide.
The goal is to rehab the crap out of this building and turn it into my full time office/youtube/pain cave/part time bicycle shop where I could do everything from my day job to training to repairing your bike if you happen to be passing through. I also want to put an add-on for cyclist to be able to have a place to crash if they happen to be passing through. (We don’t get a lot of cycle traffic here, but that could change you know?)
This post is here to document the progress of this mission. I am going to try to document more of my progress via video. I have a problem of just putting my head down and getting things done and don’t like the nuance of video capturing.
