Setup notes

What this does — Talks directly to an ANT+ USB dongle over WebUSB. Scanner finds devices for a selected profile, Decoder parses live broadcasts, and Simulator transmits synthetic sensor data so you can test a head unit or app without owning the real sensor.

Channels — Each configured slot owns a separate ANT radio channel and keeps running while you view another slot. The dongle reports its available channel count when connected; unsupported slots are disabled automatically.

Dongles — Any Dynastream-based stick works (Garmin ANT+ USB2, Suunto MoveStick…).

  • Windows: bind the stick to the WinUSB driver with Zadig first.
  • Linux: install a udev rule giving your user access.
  • macOS: works out of the box.

Self-test — No dongle or sensor nearby? Pick a profile and use Self-test to inject synthetic traffic and exercise the decoder without hardware.
